I write, but only when I have a really good idea to work with. Mostly it's obsession-related pet projects. There is one thing that is worth mentioning, though: a 29,000-word thing postulating what an aspie-controlled country might look like that I never managed to finish.

I've been writing as a hobby - and hope to be published one day.

I'm writing a story. Though I'm not a very good writer so it's probably not that good. I mostly write about things I'm obsessed with.

And last school year there was this really long (55 mintues to be exact) presentation on a country I made. It was the longest one in my school's 8th grade talented and gifted group. It was pretty through and quite dystopic.

This sounds like something I would do. Care to give details to an interested bystander?

I'm writing a story, but it isn't very good. I sort of lost my drive to write.

I'm a writer. I've been writing for as long as I can remember, but now I am editing a novel I feel very devoted to, so I'm hoping this one will be published. I guess by the time I die I'll know whether I succeeded or not...

Well, we had to make a country. I forget the actual rules for making the country but we had to right about its culture, history, government, religion, and I'm not sure if there was something else.

We could make up anything about the country we wanted and the project pretty much gave us free reign on what we can do.

I did more than those four things I listed though. I also told about the cities of the country. It was the longest presentation (for everyone that did the project had to present in front of a panel of judges) and I got 1st place. Not grand prize though. Someone else did though (though their country was more of a race, for there were no exact boundries, or cities, etc. But winning 1st place in something is still an achievement in my book.

While we were making our country we could make treaties and pacts and things of that nature with other people (countries). I did this and tricked two countries into signing a trade agreement. They had to give me their countries because of some very small backwards text I put into it.

It was the best project I have done I believe and I wouldn't mind doing it again.

But this is getting a BIT off topic. To get back on topic I have this to type:

I'm writing a story that takes place in the background of a tabletop wargame I collect miniatures for. It is turning out pretty good I think.

I'm 17 and have been writing for as long as I can remember. I'm mostly interested in sci-fi, so that's what I've been doing lately. My most recent work involves autistics schools that rival schools that attempt meditational connection with the soul.

It seems I never stop coming up with strange political scenarios to work with. I've also acquired a lot of mostly-useless historical information to work with as well. Although I was never given this exact assignment, I always managed to impress my teachers by reciting things of a similar nature from memory.
