Clearly, that joke is the result of some excellent Kraftwerk.

How Faustian of you two, but please go ahead and play the Cosmic Jokers. I'll just sit here in my Agitation Free environment.

I demand someone form a band to become the leader of a movement called Kraut-ska!

Sure, but if that comes to pass then I demand somebody to assasinate such a leader, ala John Lennon.

I know Can Can is a classical dancing song, but the way y'all are wording stuff on here... I'm not entirely sure what this is supposed to be. Well, I pick up that this thread is supposed to be funny somehow, but I'm trying to make sense of it...

With some knowledge of krautrock as a music genre, I was able to initially get the melange of band name puns. But Capriccio's literal interpretation also opened my eyes to a different way of looking at it that had escaped me. So now I notice the literal-phonetic pun along with the Krautrock puns and how both are entangled. An entangled pun. I had taken it literally from a Krautrock point of view and Capriccio had taken it literally from a cabaret dance point of view and the entangled pun works because both are right. Sorry for trying to explain this to myself as a post. I suppose I do this in real life when I talk to myself sometimes.

"Can" and "Neu!" are (were?) bands from the Krautrock genre. As were "Kraftwerk" and "Faust".

I've never heard of Ibliss or Guru Guru though. Too obscure for me.

This is information on Guru Guru

Ibliss was the music project that Andreas Hohmann was involved with before joining Kraftwerk, other members of the band were in the pre-Kraftwerk band 'Organisation'. Here's a very scant piece of information on their seemingly hopelessly out of print album.
