I have one. It is an oriental symbol for strength on my shoulder blade. I plan to get a new one soon, but not telling until I have it! I had an unavoidable family member steal my first thought for a tattoo!

As for posting pics:

Get a photobucket account

http://photobucket.com/

and then upload your pics to the album there, copy the url link (does this automatically when you click it) and hover your little icons in the message you are about to create in WP, one will say insert image url, just paste it in there and away you go...

good luck.

I have none. Won't get any. First of all I hate needles and secondly I prefer my body without decorations. I think tattoos look good on some people (as long as it aren't too many) but I doubt it would fit me.

I did consider semi-permanent make-up but because of my fear for needles I haven't done it yet and so far always stuck to putting eyeliner on daily rather than having semi-permanent eyeliner done.

Yeah, it just can be a bit unhandy to always have to drag my eyeliner with me everywhere. I consume more make-up than the average woman so I take it with me everywhere I go. If I had it done semi-permanent at least I would not always have to put it on again.

I don't have any tattoos. I don't think I'll ever get any. They're not for me plus I don't like those particular needles and the fact they can't come easily off.

I dream of becoming a tattoo artist, but I don't think I have the social skills for it.

Social skills?

Bleck!

Who needs those??! !

and besides, I can recall perfectly when I went to get mine, all the guy said was "are you going to be ok sweetheart"

Likely because my eyes were clenched so tight and fists were balled even tighter, but that was the extent of our interaction. I told him what I wanted, he agreed and away we went. You could too!

Thank you for the encouragement!

My tattoo artist was not very talkative either. But lately, I've been watching tv shows like "LA Ink" in which the tattoo artist is like a therapist. Those shows seem to be popular, so then I start to think that maybe people expect talkative tattoo artists these days. There's no way I could do any kind of art and hold a conversation at the same time.

Maybe I could call my shop "Autistic Tattoo" or "Aspie Ink" so that people would expect a silent and quirky artist. (I'm only half serious--that could invoke a whole bunch of stereotypes and other issues.)
