Photography is one of my passions. It wouldn't be a stretch to say that I'm in love with my camera, a Pentax K1000 from 1977 :D

I prefer to use film. I'm currently working on a roll of Ektachrome 200 that expired in... 1994 :D I can't wait to see how it comes out!

So, like I said before, are there any other photographers out there?

I love photography sadly I don't have much time to purse that interest. i adore black and white dark room photography, but alas I have to make do with my digital, it is nicer in the fact that you can take as many photos without worring about film cost and development. But you tend to lose a certain feel to it. I can't wait to get back out there to take photographs.

Do you tend to take more photos of things instead of people? I don't enjoy taking photographs of people in them. I mostly like old deteriorating things to take photos of. I just think that they are just so beautiful.

Sometimes. My dad has a 1972 Datsun 240Z that's been (sadly) rusting away in his yard for around twenty years now. It makes an interesting subject. (I'd like to get the car restored sometime...)

Black and white is pretty fun. I like the drama that it produces in an image. I'm in a photo class now at school and we're working in black and white. It's really fun! :D

Recently, I've been focusing on the colors of the trees, now that it's autumn. Many times the colors that the leaves turn are truly beautiful. I'll have to scan some of my photos and post 'em here sometime.

I'm the same way. I like to photograph rusted, mutilated machinery, dilapidated buildings, etc. People are boring.

I like the idea of doing a person's portrait by photographing things in their environment. I think that what a person sees every day is more representative of who they are than what their body looks like.

I like manual film photography. My camera is a Minolta X-370s. I don't use a flash with it because I prefer to work with the effects of natural light.

I'm also interested in photography, though only more recently. I also like photos of rusty, dilapidated things. Particularly machinery, gear, etc. I'm also interested in macrophotography.

Which is weird because that's the opposite of what I like to draw.

I'm a bit of a photgraphy nut too. I shoot digital though. My photostream is here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/lancashire/).

I really love photography.

When I was a kid, we had a "photography day," and the teacher made us all go out and take one photograph each, knowing nothing about photography. So I took a picture of a couple of girls, and when I returned to class, the teacher put my photo up as a bad example! I had cut off their legs, I had centered the photo too much...etc. Considering the fact that I was about 11 years old, I think the teacher was pretty harsh. LOL.

But I really listened to everything she said, and maybe because my pride was hurt, I was determined to improve. And I think I have. I still kind of hate that teacher, though, to be honest. LOL.

I've never taken a photography class, though, and I just use my digital. I only take them for myself. Maybe someday I'll get even more into it and splurge on a really magnificent camera or something... :)

Also, cool photos, Tequila!

Thank you, both of you. I'm glad you like them.

I do have a DSLR myself (Canon EOS 400D) but can't use it properly due to not being able to focus. :)

I is a great passion of mine. I love most things to do with photography, from a darkroom to vintage cameras, from shooting to vintage photograph albums.

i'm really actually starting to enjoy it more than i did before...i always loved taking pictures, but now i find that i'm actually thinking more before taking them...not just taking them randomly. i never took photography in school (was more into visual art) but always kinda wanted to (parents said i had too many art-type classes and needed more academic-type). my hubby recently bought me a new digital camera that i am having a lot of fun with (still learning all the different settings etc.) that is a lot more advanced than the one i had previously. and people are actually commenting positively on my pictures now (and that's always good for a well-needed ego boost now and again...lol.)

I have a digital camera that I am still trying to get the hang of.

I love taking pictures in the mountains! I'm not a skilled photographer but I've been trying to teach myself how to take better photographs with my digital camera.

Here are some of my better ones from this year.

I too am enthralled with demolished buildings and rust and...basically anything that hints at structural neglect. Perhaps as Aspies we find beauty in neglected things because we are often neglected in so many instances in life when we only want to be appreciated. It's not their fault these things get neglected, they'd take care of themselves better if they could. Capturing multi-dimensional metaphors to appear on a 2-dimensional surface to act as a mirror for reflection...that is photography.

I do like taking pictures of people when they think no one is taking pictures. When they're themselves when no one's looking...the time and space that precedes any concealment. But it's very hard to do.

I like to take photos of nature.....land, sky or sea.

Unfortunately, I don't even have a camera....oh the wonders of being broke. I just borrow my mothers partners camera for now.
