As the title says, what was the last album you acquired?

I recently bought 5 CDs;
7Seconds-'Take it Back, Take it On, Take it Over'
Black Flag-'Damaged'
Crass-'The Feeding of the 5000'
Gang of Four-'Entertainment!'
Pelican-'The Fire in Our Throats Will Beckon the Thaw'

So how about everyone else?

Nirvana - MTV Unplugged in New York
Foo Fighters - Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace. I wouldn't recommend getting this, by the way.
Stereophonics - Pull the Pin

Nine Inch Nails: Year Zero Remixed (except it's written in L33T, I forget the exact spelling)
Saul Williams: The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of Niggy Tardust
Various : Help: A Day in the Life
Explosions in the Sky: How Strange, Innocence
Placebo: Meds
Nine Inch Nails: Year Zero
Radiohead: In Rainbows

There was probably some other stuff in there, too. I've got a long list of other things I want to own, but they'll have to wait 'til after Christmas, now, due to financial considerations. I'm really excited by the fact that Deutsche Grammofone have just opened a DRM free mp3 store including a large number of out of print albums, so I need to spend some time perusing that.

EXCELLENT CHOICE.

'Six Pack' and 'TV Party' contain words I live by.

Girlfriend asks me which one I like better...
SIX PACK!
I hope the answer don't upset her...

These at my last visit to a music store:

BORIS - Akuma No Uta
BORIS - Absolute Ego
FAUST - 1st LP/So Far
GOVERNMENT ISSUE - Complete History, Vol.1
ETERNAL ELYSIUM - Spiritualized D
ETERNAL ELYSIUM - Share

-- Japanese Sludge/Stoner Metal is where it's at for me at this point.

Good choices. I have those two.

Most recent for me:
two 7"s by the Immortal Lee County Killers
Hex Dispensers - self-titled 12"
Hex Dispensers / Haunted George split 7": "Forest Ray Colson" and "Pile O Meat"

"oracular spectacular" by MGMT, it sounds a lot like Of Montreal to these ears.

http://www.myspace.com/mgmt and incidently, isn't that the best looking myspace page of all time? Forget the boring press quotes, lets have some multi coloured photos of sea shells and laughing skulls.

Last one I bought in a very long time was a recent purchase of Smiling Phases, a compilation by Traffic. I acquire a lot of albums via lossless downloads off newsgroups. Right now, I am acquiring Little Richard's Specialty Sessions 6CD set. Albums are still too expensive.

The last CD was Neil Diamond's Greatest Hits. I got tired of it pretty quickly though.

They can't be that bad considering the fact that one of their first freinds listed is Helios Creed from Chrome.

i believe they're blog hyped and like the most omg hot thing of the moment. I check all that stuff out and reject most of it instantly but this album I've had on repeat the last couple of days and it keeps getting better.
