Wasn't too sure whether to post this in the film forum, but the two films are about Bob Dylan and Ian Curtis (Joy Division). I figure it'd be better suited here seeing that fans of either would be located here. Anyone see either? Opinions?

I really want to see I'm Not There.
I heard Cate Blanchett looks & sounds uncanny as as an androgynous Bob Dylan.

Control is brilliant! - one of my favorite films of the year. I've been a huge Joy Division fan since I heard the track "Atmosphere" playing in a local record shop when I was six years old. Not knowing anything about them, I thought that Ian Curtis was an old man! (because of his voice). I pictured someone in his seventies  - It wasn't till I was ten that I read an article about New Order in Sounds (old UK music mag) and found out..

The mother of one of my little sisters friends was appalled that I loved them. She thought I was 'weird' for liking them at age six. Now its kind of funny but at the time I thought this woman was an idiot!

What can I say, when I was a kid John Peel was my hero & I lived for music and film (still the same). Joy Division, Cocteau Twins and Talking Heads ruled my world :D - Should add that I love Bob Dylan too. I didn't discover him until I was fourteen though!
