I love Led Zeppelin they are my favorite band. If you want to post that you like them and why and if you got to see them in concert that would be cool.

They are by far my favorite classic rock band. Robert Plant has a great voice, John Bonham is an amazing drummer and Jimmy Page is a wicked guitar player.
I'm will admit that i didn't hear about Led Zepplin until about a year after the Puff Daddy song with Jimmy Page for the Godzilla Movie were Jimmy Page used Kasmir as the main guitar track for the song.
One of my email address is based on the song Communication Breakdown. I never got to see them in concert.
Some of my favorite songs are Stairway to Heaven, Black Dog, Communication Breakdown, Heartbreaker, Misty Mountain Hop, Kasmir.

What do you think of Robert Plant's solo project?

Huge fan checking in.

I've never seen them in concert, I'm much too young. I'm hoping for that tour though.

At least half of their catalogue are my "favorite" songs by them. The songs I like are spread over all of the albums, but I tend to like the heavier stuff more.

Everytime I hear them on the radio I quickly change the station.

I don't love 'em, I just like em. There's only a few songs I really, really like ("The Ocean", "What Is And What Should Never Be", everything on Led Zeppelin IV) but there rest is just OK to me.

Here's what I wrote about Zep a while back ! !! !

Ah Zep ! ! My father brought Zep 1 about the time it came out so I was less than 12 months old and therefore have no cognitive memory of a Zep free life. I've never tired of them despite being nearly 40 and Zep 1 was the first CD I bought when the medium became available.

So, a favourite song would be "The Rain Song". Not far behind would be "Nobody's Fault But Mine", "What Is And What Should Never Be", "Bron-Yr-Aur", "No Quarter", "The Battle Of Evermore" and "Celebration Day".

The funniest reference might be in the Simpsons when Homer says Jimmy Page was the greatest ripper-offerer of American music ever. This could be true ! !

The Lemon Song = Chester Burnett's "Killing Floor" & Robert Johnson's "Travelling Riverside Blues"

In My Time Of Dying = Blind Willie Johnson's "Jesus Make Up My Dying Bed"

When The Levee Breaks (Joe McCoy), You Shook Me (Willie Dixon), I Can't Quit You Baby (Dixon again), Bring It On Home (Sonny Boy Williamson), Gallows Pole (Leadbelly) and Nobody's Fault But Mine (Willie Johnson again) are all direct cover songs.

I've seen and heard so much live music (you get that being a musician ! ! lol) and I've never heard a band so good live as Led Zeppelin - as telepathic and uncanny a group as you will ever hear. To have seen them live would have been something else ! !!

While Jethro Tull, Blind Willie McTell & 1920s pop music are currently my 'flavours of the month" Zep would be my all time fave without any doubt.

One of my all-time favorite bands. I grew up listening to them and they were one of the first bands I truly got obsessive about. Jimmy Page is an incredible guitarist and arranger / producer. Even though a lot of the songs and riffs borrow heavily from old blues musicians I think he brought them to another plane. And there are plenty of great songs from them that are completely original.

A couple of my favorites that don't get mentioned much are "Achilles Last Stand" and "Four Sticks". They have so many great songs it would take a while to list all my favorites.

If they do indeed have an US reunion tour I would be thrilled. I was only a baby when they played back in the 70's so never got to see them.
