I'm thinking this'll be fun.

The whole idea here, drop something unique and different - something that's there, something really underplayed and unknown, preferably in Youtube format or something of the like. The idea - grab up the obscure, or at least something very meaningful and kinda buried in your opinion, bring it out and give it some surface :).

Matrix - Convoy (1998 - Prototype)

Peshay - The Nocturnal (Back On The Firm)

Its funny, I started this thread and realized I don't even have a program for making these things :|. I've got a Grooverider vs. Roya Arab plus a Hidden Agenda track that I'd love to throw on there as well but unfortunately, not exactly an option right this minute.

Roni Size - Trust Me

Dillinja - The Angels Fell

Cooked base warning! Don't turn your subs up too high on the Dillinja track. The actual is great, this one - well, its Youtube-rigged.

Oh, and on a fun note - try playing em at the same time, I've been mixing the first round of the intro pad from Angels Fell into the middle of Trust Me; liking the feel of it even if the tempos are a little off ;).

And...one more for now.....

Dj Krust - Maintain

Someone I've been hearing that Massive Attack may have as their next guest vocalist; I Youtube'd some of her other videos, wasn't quite seeing it

Now I see why  .......should be interesting, if its more than conjecture.

Good selection, I hadn't really tried out VNV but the first track had some pretty on-point lyrics. Surprised I liked the Moby track as well, I've liked some of his stuff but a lot of the more recent I guess I really hadn't gotten my head around.

Oh yeah and Veresae, I wanted to mention I did like the Dr. Steel stuff - or at least how he mashed the styles and ideas up; only trouble is the politics, he definitely doesn't go to any lengths in hiding it.

BTW, if anyone's wondering why I cut my links - I saw a few things about Youtube and linking, now that I have an account that I really didn't appreciate (primary the fact that every link is displayed for the world to see). Not to b***h out or anything but this is one of those places where my privacy is really preferred.
