I write poetry a lot. Generally it's an expression of visions. Anyway, I thought I'd post some.

"Lumina"
Luminosity, O guiding light to my life.
Shine through the darkness and make it worth living in.
Fill my heart with rhythm, you make me feel loved.

"Wisdom"
Some knowledge can only be gained
by trading purity for it.
Some pieces of truth,
you must plunge yourself into darkness
to obtain.
Some do not.
They will never know.
Those that do,
will regret.
Don't be proud of what you've done,
but rightfully value
what you've gained from it.

"The Curse Before the Storm"
As I breathe in the night,
inhaling her scent,
imbibing her description -
I consider dropping my tool
for I fear I will not see the day.
This cavernous vortex
the embrace of open, wintry love
could make me lose my nerve.
It could bring me to my knees
and I would die weeping.
Perhaps, rightly so.

"Android"
I am the android, the machine of familiar form.
I stare when I look, and you see no life within my cold gaze.
The deadpan exterior belies a warm, caring, and nervous interior.
Can you ever truly understand this?
Is it possible to make the inside visible from the outside?
Maybe my role has yet to be seen.
I will follow my path and ignore these thoughts.
Someday I will find my place.
I hope it is an important one.
