I wasn't expecting a "double-whammy" in the follow-up to my family/spiritual community cosmic new-years observance of September 19 in Marseille, France; but, by my 63rd birthday in December, I had found I was an "aspie" and had just joined this board, and on top of that, I found myself "seized by the divine will of Self-Revelation" and was off for about two weeks of a spiritual experience such as I've never experienced before. About two weeks of nightly spiritual high intensity, pouring out my feelings in compositions at an unheard of rate, for myself, here on wrongplanet.

Of course, even wrongplanet forums can feel like a crowd, and after two weeks of intense spiritual feelings I needed a retreat; I'm not yet spiritually mature enough to maintain such an intense state of being.

I stayed away from the 'net for a while, and retreated to my garage workshop, finishing up uncompleted projects, and dreaming up storage solutions:

I started by finishing the 'T-Track'-equipped expansion fence-face for my DIY "Biese-box-clone" rip fence:

I then was set to rip up some 2 x 4 cut-offs I had on hand and use them up for some creative woodwork; this cubby is made entirely from ripped fir 2 x 4 scraps:

The poster on the wall at the upper right is for my Marseille friend's group JugalBandi; the full image may be seen there.

The target is just for wall decoration; it's been lying around the garage, as my car has been down for most of the past year, and I haven't been able to get to the range with my "trapdoor-carbine shootin' iron."

And, various shop tool projects, including a drill-press expansion table, a box for saw-blade storage, a cupboard built into a grinder stand, and a hook to store the miter gauge on the side of the table saw:

Those and a few minor projects have kept me busy.

This is how I've been recovering from too much, too fast :D
