I love it. I got to see Bryan Adams and Def Leppard in concert. My parents got to see Pink Floyd's The Wall. I'm envious they got to see that.

These are my top 5 bands

The Beatles
Pink Floyd
The Rolling Stones
The Who
The Doors

Classic rock, I think, is the best music ever made. My favorite groups, off the top of my head, are Pink Floyd, The Beatles the Stones, The Eagles, The Who, AC/DC, and Led Zeppelin.

In my opinion, classic rock is best enjoyed on vinyl with classic hi-fi audio gear. The stuff that was made in the '60s (tubes!) and '70s is generally of higher quality, and yields better sound, than stuff that's made today. For example, all of my gear (save the CD player) was my dad's, and dates from 1978 and includes a receiver, belt drive turntable, and cassette deck. The CD player was made in '86. All of it sounds excellent.

Huge Deep Purple fan, plus Frank Zappa, Iron Butterfly, Led Zeppelin, Ozzy Osbourne, Pink Floyd and Def Leppard.

I'm also partial to a few good 60'S and some 80's rock bands.

Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead and Black Sabbath are about as far as I venture into classic rock territory. It's an area of music I've been meaning to look into for some time.
