I have just reached the 100,000 word milestone on the fiction I have working on for the last five years, and have nearly reached the halfway mark. Don't believe me? Here's a screencap.

Congradulations! ^_^ Five years, eh? That's a loooooong time, so no wonder! How much of the story is left?

Myself, I never pay much attention to the word count, or the page count. "Of Mice and Men" was only 100 or so pages and it was a masterpiece. And I've read some very long, very bloated books that should have been 100-200 pages shorter. XD

Must be pretty epic. Don't post any extracts, just in case.

My first novel is finished, and I've started on the second in the series, although I'm going to have to concentrate more on my thesis from now on.

"Lecherously" is such a wonderfully descriptive word. It even tastes like what it means. ::toothy grin::
