Now that I have finished the first draft of my novel, I might allow for some Q&A. Note that I am pretty paranoid about plagiarism. Not only that, but I am setting things up so that hopefully, it becomes a series. I have a trusted friend acting as a guinea pig (she's a family friend and not from WP, so don't bother asking), helping me tidy up my story, and I intend to give her a physical copy of my first full draft later this week.

No. Not really. I have a few characters go berserk, but no actual berserkers. As this novel is set in the future, it is unlikely that this will happen. However, if I ever deal with the military in this series later on, I may put it in.

hmm it's hard to ask questions if you're concerned about plagiarism. most people would want to know the plot summary.

I don't have any questions, but I wanted to say that I think it's awesome that you set out to do this and you really saw it through to the end.

It is a postcyberpunk noir novel. If you have read books like William Gibson's Neuromancer, seen Ghost in the Shell or watched Blade Runner, you'll know what I'm talking about.

Not that long. About 50,000 words. But Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy is about the same length.

I am looking for one, but I think it'll be better if I find an agent first. I'd probably have to find one in the capital cities, a friend told me that the ones where I live are conmen.
