"Whip it good!" ... you bet! I was living in Austin, Texas when I first heard them.. pretty radical stuff back then! 8O :wink:

Through no doing on my part, my 14 y.o. daughter likes them also. Got them on her iPod :D

"Working on the Chaingang" is her favorite, I think.

The first five albums are very good, but after that... very disappointing.
'Whip It' was a hit back then and it's a great track, but they had songs way more better than that. The first album is excellent, and 'Uncontrollable Urge' is the greatest album opener ever, period. : )

I loooove Devo!! ! :heart: :D My favorite song by Devo? "We're Through Bein' Cool"
It seems that 'everyday' folks aren't very receptive to Devo, though. I found out this 'truth' by cranking "Whip It" while driving around with the windows down. I can't even begin to tell you how many people openly glared at me, flipped me off, and/or told me to "turn that sh*t down!" Grrrr.... :rambo: They don't appreciate good music when they hear it!! :jester:
