I wish to find fast-paced, structured time signatured, instrumental heavy metal and/or instrumental rock.

Yeah Techinical Metal comes close (Indricothere, Behold...The Arctopus), but unstructured time signatures get on my nerves.

Really cool fast thrash metal, completely instrumental like Metallica's instrumentals. Like Sepultura but with no vocals whatsoever you know?

Anywhere I can find it?

Limewire? uTorrent?

I download stuff because I'm a cheapskate and I save money for better things. 8)

Although am a metal enthusiast,am do not understand most of those terms apart from instrumental.
There's one instrumental metal band am used to listen to,Dream Theaters' side project-liquid tension experiment.
They're not like sepultura,so that one might not be right anyway, worth checking out though.

Apocalyptica is exactly what you're asking for there. Their instrumental covers of Metallica songs were used in the Some Kind of Monster documentary. They've got their own material too but their first album was all Metallica instrumental covers. They may not be specifically what you had in mind but I think this fits the bill for what you want.

I heard Apocalyptica.

Didn't like them.

I'll just stick with my post-metal of "Pelican", and "Do Make Say Think."

If not that...Know of any Instrumental Grindcore? ;)

not sure if they count, but mogwai's early stuff is quite loud. just a shame that they're now as quiet as a manchester united-supporting church mouse

Yngwie Malmsteen comes to mind. If I remember my music theory right, then he should definitely have timed signatures because of his music's classical influences.

Check out Chris Poland's "return to metalopolis". Chris poland was megadeths original guitarist. Another of megadeth's former guitarists who does cool instrumental metal is marty friedman.

Finding instrumental metal in that genre is going to be difficult. The closest Ideas I can think of are Meshuggah's Catchthirtythree and I, as well as Mastodon. Each of those have vocals however, though the vocals aren't very dominant.

Liquid Tension Experiment is ok, but its like dream theatre with no vocals and less organised structure (they record semi-organised jam sessions) with lots more keyboards.

If you find something let me know, cause that would be quite cool!
