Hi

I have a habit (good?/bad?) of posting on here regular. I am conscious of that.

I write, sing my own music - it's my own brand of pop music really.

The problem can be, if one has aspirations, is finding the right musical someone, in my case i'm always looking around for a friend to collaborate with: album, single...whatever

So...if you are a music producer/multi-musical skilled kind of person living in the UK, and you like my music then drop me an email, we could collaborate on something quite cool!

MY MUSIC IS HERE: www.myspace.com/kerrylambertinblightyland :)

thanks for reading

there are web sites you can post your music on. The thing is to get a following, and get the A&R (Artist and Repertoire) people to come listen. Good luck. I'm about 5 time zones in the wrong direction..;)

I'm not a record producer, but I am an audiophile, a huge music nerd, former record store clerk (until I went to college) and a music writer/critic

You're lucky you live in the UK, as you have a big shot at getting noticed. The UK is one of the few countries where the pop charts actually based on purchases and in turn how good a song is.

There's some great labels around the UK you can send stuff to, like Domino, Dance to the Radio, Cooking Vinyl, Mute, etc.

Just shop your tape around or play some gigs. You may get noticed by another artist and they'll might spread some word of mouth (It happened to Kate Nash, and it can happen to you).

Several other bands/bandmembers went to RISD: Les Savy Fav, Lisa Loeb, OK Go. Not many stick around (Lightning Bolt and Black Dice being some of the few). Alot of the RISD scene revolves around the clubs in Providence, and our sole alternative rock station WBRU (which is the only commercial station owned by a college [Brown] and staffed by students). It's a good scene, but alot of it is now split between ska and noise metal (with the occasional jam band poking its head out).
