Are there any fans of the trip-hop genre. If so, Who are your favorite artists or bands and what are your favorite songs.

In my opinion, Portishead is one of the greatest trip-hop bands of all time. The vocal and lyrics are so breathtaking and exhilarating. They're coming out with a new album on April 29th, so I can't wait.

I'm not big on much trip hop but I like Collide, which have trip hop elements even if they also have elements from many other genres.

Also a fan of trip-hop here. I love Portishead, Massive Attack, Moloko, Télépopmusik, Mono (they're probably not trip-hop come to think of it but they have a few songs that lend to the genre)...

I like Portishead alot ("Third" is GREAT), and I like Peeping Tom (one of Mike Patton's many projects. If it isn't trip-hop it comes really close). The only Massive Attack songs that have clicked with me are "Unfinished Sympathy" and "Daydreaming".
