Emo is childish and stupid. That what I think.

p**** Power can be scary and off-putting. Whenever anyone is "angry," I find that off-putting.

^I don't know, they look happy to me like they're casually hanging out somewhere in their school clothes. They're also a bit emoish.

p**** Power, like its counterpart, does not have to be aggressive and destructive.

If what we're talking about here is Male / Female Energy, harmony of the differently gendered qi is certainly possible. I think gender harmony kissed its own a$$ goodbye when Eve had that first bite of Forbidden Fruit. Damned snake ... :x

Excuse me but TBM is most definitely NOT Emo!! !
I suppose you could call them Gothic Synthpop(with guitars) but WTF! Where did you get the idea that
they're Em0?? They may have an Em0 image but if you actually heard them you'd realize
pretty f*****g quick they're not.

You take this stuff pretty seriously, then. Are Gothic Synthpop ( ?) and Emo music that different? Would I find them on the same shelf at Virgin or HMV?

I find it amusing that you would get made at a guy over Emo.

I take MOST things pretty seriously, but not Em0  . The thing is, slapping them with the Em0 label is inaccurate and certainly rather condescending. I just think that you shouldnt judge a band by its image without Hearing them first.

That's true. But don't a band's image and music have equal pull in the industry? You could say a band's image is it's music and vice-versa. Would Aerosmith be Aerosmith if they looked like the Backstreet Boys? I do not mean to bust your balls or give you a hard time about this. I'd be pretty irate if someone dissed Star Trek or Hellboy.

To some extent yes, but just cuz TBM look Emo doesnt mean that they sound Em0. AFAIK their fan base in comprised predominately of Goths and not Em0kids-the likes of who prefer My Chemical Romance and Dashboard Confessional to TBM.

Emo fruits!

How about the guy on the left? He appears to suffer from burcitis or carpal tunnel syndrome ... And real blood dries to look more brownish than purple. Whoever they got that blood from must have been gravely, gravely ill. Didn't 80s punk boys used to look like these here em0 fruits?

Yep yep, they're pretty darn good. I wish I liked them more consistantly though.

I love their video for "Blue":

Yes, they are VERY different. Ask any fan of either genre! TBM is not emo at all. Try going on VampireFreaks sometime and tell them that emo and goth are the same, or call TBM emo, or goth for that matter. They aren't either.

Personally I really LOVE Gothic SynthPop and wish there was more of it that sounds as Good as TBM. Most of the "synthpop" bands with an ostensibly gothic slant produce VERY Dull music comprised of recycled Trance beats. My favoritest band when it comes to this goth synthpop genre has gotta be DANSE SOCIETY 8) .

I totally agree. That's part of why I don't argue when fans of bland gothic synthpop don't like TBM being called gothic. XD Me, I put it in the same category as Orgy, Zeromancer, L'ame Immortelle, etc. of "death-pop," which mixes pop, rock, industrial, gothic, metal, synth, electronica, all of that and rolls it all into one.

I don't know much about TBM. I'm going to their concert in a week or two, though, since they're opening for Mindless Self Indulgence. But can someone reccomend me some songs by TBM?
