I literally get runner's high from listening to music, because I actually run while I play it.
Good! You'll be in great shape before too long if you keep that up. I kinda wish I did more running when I was your age.
I run for at least an hour every day and I've been doing it for years, but believe it or not, I'm overweight. It's because two of my medications have weight gain as a side effect. Before my medication, I weighed 140 pounds. Now, I weigh 180 pounds.
I'm heavier than you are. I'd be in bad shape if I didn't run so much, but as it is I feel pretty good. I have wondered whether certain antipsychotics cause people to gain weight because they make the person taking them sluggish, and whether it's the lack of activity that causes the problem, and not necessarily the medication itself. Also, steriods and anything resembling them (I think certain asthma medicines are a kind of steroid?) can also cause weight gain despite activity. Interestingly enough, I read that steroids similar to testosterone are sometimes given to cancer patients to rebuild their immune systems, and increase their appetite and tissue growth so they don't waste away.
Prednisone is used to treat inflammation and autoimmune disorders, and it can cause weight gain.
