Do you have design skills? We need your ideas! The committee is seeking
designs for a logo for Autscape. Please read the guidelines below
carefully before getting to work. Please submit finished designs to
logo (at) autscape.org by 30th May 2008. Designs can be submitted in a
compressed format file e.g. JPG, GIF etc. Please retain an uncompressed
version of your design. You can submit as many entries as you like.

Reading these guidelines carefully will give your entry a better chance
of success! Autscape needs a logo which meets particular criteria.

(1) The design must be suitable for use as a letterhead i.e. on the tops
of letters/compliments slips etc.

(2) The design may contain different colours but it *must* also look OK
reproduced in black and white or in a maximum of 2 colours.

(3) A design which is also suitable for use on t-shirts will have an
advantage.

(4) The design should in some way represent or communicate what Autscape
is about.

(5) The design should not be too similar to that of any other
organisation (particularly organisations associated with Autism).

(6) The design should not contain images, text or anything else which
communicates or implies a political viewpoint on any subject (including
autism) other than the general view that autistics have a right to
exist.

(7) It is a condition of entry that copyright of the winning logo will
be transferred to Autscape on announcement of the competition result.
However the creator of the logo will retain the right to be credited as
its creator.

(8 ) The decision of the Autscape management committee will be final.

I had a look at your site. Interesting. It might be fun to do this.

Ok I have read your constitution and it would appear you are a charity or not for profit organization complying to the charities act. Can I have evidence of charity registration or that you are operating as not for profit? I searched the charities commission register online briefly and did not find it.

The current template/color scheme/identity of your site and printed media will not sway the results for the logo design, and are willing to make your own changes to what you feel would best suit the new identity, or work with the winner should they wish to make suggestions?

Transference of electronic and printed publishing rights should be apon choosing a winner for that winner only? Are you wanting design rights as well?

There should be a tag line (credit) attributing to the original design at least with a contact such as email. It could be at the bottom of printed/electronic pages in 8+pt font.
