I think it means that the man walked past his woman. I love reggae by the way.

I've loved it from de crib mon!
The other day I had to cook a dreadful amount of beans for the family and the song "Hot up de place" got me through it. My husband "claims" to hate it but I caught him shakin' his tail a
bit to the tune I previously mentioned. I especially like the way one artist says "E-looo-sion"
for the word "illusion". I just love it!

RightGalaxy, is this a test? I'm gonna be boring and say that I know the answer.

Kouchie is slang for a cannabis pipe.

Pass The Kouchie was covered by covered by the British reggae group Musical Youth, but they got rid of all the drug references in the song, and changed the title to Pass The Dutchie. A Dutchie is apparently a Dutch oven (a type of cooking pot).

skysaw is right. It is a clay pipe that fits in your palm that is straight and fairly vertical. It doesn't have a mouth piece instead you hold it with both hands overlapping at the bottom, and where your wrist join there is a natural gap which you suck through…this was the design I was passed when I used to live in Jamaica.

It takes some practice to keep it burning. It is not to be confused with a bong.
