I don't know how well this post will go over because i'm not intending it to be a flame or anything. But it might be taken that way.
Some of us remember how Happeh wrote posts, and a some of us considered him to be a Troll, but in my opinion he didnt seem to intentionally be malicious. At one point he refered to someone's post as Mind-Twisting, and he refused to listen. And people at that point probably decided it was futile to keep arguing with him(although this may not have stopped them from posting). But wanting to give him the benefit of the doubt I PM'ed him asking what exactly he meant by that. And basically he described stories which have emotionally stinging endings which betray their often innoculet beginnings.
And i'm compelled to mention Happeh, and his term Mind Twisting because I just read an excellent story which did just that. It is called the "Lottery" By Shirley Jackson. Basically it is a story about a traditional lottery a town has every year and how wonderful it is for everyone involved, and how everyone is excited and glorifies these as the best of times. Then at the end, in the last like 5 lines you find out the lottery is for a public stoning of the winner of the lottery.
Wheeew, that was a great story. I'm still unsettled.
I don't blame Happeh for disliking this feeling because it is strong and disconcerting. And I now understand why he acted the way he did towards these posts. Although I really enjoy stories like these. It is a bittersweet feeling though. They make me think and feel and inspire me.
