What's the Greatest Western Graphic novel of all time?

I'd have to say that Watchmen comes first, and Maus second.
Watchmen, well, it's one of the deepest comics I've seen. If you had to argue that comics were another form of high literature, this tale about screwed-up 'superheroes' would be your best argument.
And Maus, well, it's a very good tale that tells a very personal story about the Holocaust using an unusual perspective: anthropomorphic animals. Grim and dark, but also not without its charm and its exposure of human nature.
What do you reckon?
