So, I've nearly reached 1,000 posts, and I thought I'd celebrate my imminent status freedom posting all of the themed avatars I managed to get through. I used all of my own photographs and, in one case, art, since I love birds so much, and I tried to use one for each increasing status. Unfortunately, I didn't have any of toucans, tufted titmice or hummingbirds, so it was a relatively limited trend.

Now I don't know what I'll go for. Oh, the exciting possibilities!

Let's see if I can remember these status tags:


"Emu Egg," innit?




"Raven," obviously.




"Seagull"




"Deinonychus" and "Velociraptor" both fit.




"Phoenix," the first.




"Phoenix," the second.






"Phoenix," third and forth, I think.




"Phoenix," second to last.




"Phoenix," the last.



Yes. YES.

What about you guys? How many have you gone through, and why? Where did they come from? Did you create them, or are they collected?

Since this is my first day, my only Avatar I have is this one. Its of Deadpool.

Thanks, Mighty. Unfortunately, I don't know who Deadpool is. It conjures images of a swimming pool full of various dead organic items.

And...no one else? Come on, I see all sorts of avatars around here, they all make me curious. Nothing? Nothing?

When I first joined, my avatar was the red space invader from the WP gaming gallery.
