Tough one, because much of the celebrity life (especially as it pertains to country music) is gregarious and rowdy, much the opposite of how other artists prefer their atmosphere.
Whoever writes the music for Rascal Flats is very intuitive...many of their songs deal with personal emotions and introspections on a level not really explored with typical artists.
Other than that? Dunno. Maybe k.d. lang?
