The Darkness? Was it his singing that made them die out?

Well, no-one else seems to know or want to answer so...
after the first cd, Justin Hawkins became a coke addicted bulimic, fell out with the bassist Frankie, went to rehab, they reformed with new bassist and cod-Van Halen sound..in the meanwhile the joke wore thin, no-one bought their new stuff and since then Justin is cropping up on eurovision, and pretty much anywhere that will have him, whilst the band seems no more.

They were pretty good live though

Thanks, yeah, I knew most of that. I bought their first album at the time and was hoping they'd be the next big band. But gradually I just couldn't take them seriously. I have a copy of their second album, there's a couple of good songs on it.
