Haunted Rock
We see Patrick getting ready to go to bed

Patrick: Ah, I'm ready for a good night's sleep.

Patrick gets into bed and hears a noise

Patrick: What was that?

Patrick sees a green blur

Patrick: Ghost?

Patrick hear's a voice

Patrick: GHOST!! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !!

Patrick runs out of his rock screaming, he runs into SpongeBob's house

Patrick: SpongeBob! You have to help me, there's a ghost in my rock!
SpongeBob: (yawn) Pat, there's no ghosts in your rock, you're dreaming.
Patrick: No, I saw a green blur. The ghost looked familiar.
SpongeBob: Did you fill your cabinet with green fungus again?
Patrick: Yes.
SpongeBob: You probably saw that.
Patrick: No, I heard a voice. Can I stay with you for one night? Please!! !! I'm really scared.
SpongeBob: All right, grab a sleeping bag and go to sleep.

They go to sleep, Patrick's snoring is so loud, it keeps SpongeBob awake

Bubble Transition

In the morning, Patrick is watching "Blue's Clues", SpongeBob is reading "A Guide To Spanish - By SpongeBobRocksMan"

Patrick: A CLUE! A CLUE!
Guy on TV: You can see a clue? Where?
Patrick: On your shoe.
Guy on TV: Silly, there's no clue on the glue.
Patrick: No, idiot. A "Blue's Clue" on your shoe.
Guy on TV: Who you callin' idiot? Pink face!
Patrick: WHAT?!? How dare you call me pink face!
Guy on TV: I call 'em as I see 'em.
Patrick: THAT'S IT! YOU WANNA FIGHT?
Guy on TV: Bring it on!

SpongeBob: Patrick, be quiet! I'm trying to read.
Patrick: He started it!
Guy on TV: No I didn't!
Patrick: Anyway, what are you reading?
SpongeBob: I'm reading "A Guide To Spanish - By SpongeBobRocksMan". It teaches you Spanish. Anyway, what happened last night? You said you saw a ghost.
Patrick: I did. Yes yes yes.
SpongeBob: Are you sure?
Patrick: I'll show you.

Bubble Transition

In Patrick's rock

SpongeBob: Well, I don't see anything.
Patrick: It came from the basement, I'll show you.
SpongeBob: You have a basement?

Patrick and SpongeBob walk into the basement

SpongeBob: Well, there's nothing here. Can I go home now?
Patrick: No! Don't leave!
SpongeBob: Listen, Patrick. If you really think there's a ghost, can you at least tell me what he looks like?
Patrick: Well he was green, he had a beard, he had a sock at the end of his tail, and he wore a pirate hat.
SpongeBob: Sounds familiar. But there's no reason why the Flying Dutchman would want to stay here. Maybe you should see Sandy, she's a scientist, maybe she'll get you less scared.

Bubble Transition

At Sandy's Treedome

Sandy: So you think the Flying Dutchman is in your rock?
Patrick: That is correct.
Sandy: But Patrick, that's impossible. The Flying Dutchman lives in a pirate ship.
Patrick: I'll prove to you he's in my rock!
Sandy: Listen, I'll go with you to your rock. At night time, I'll watch out for any sign of the Flying Dutchman.
Patrick: Okay.

At night, everyone creeps into Patrick's rock

Sandy: Well, there's no Flying Dutchman. Can I go now?
Patrick: Just wait, you only just arrived.
SpongeBob: It's night time, Patrick. Go to bed, we'll sort this out tomorrow.
Patrick: I'M NOT SLEEPING UNTIL I PROVE TO YOU THAT THERE'S A GHOST!

Narrator: 0.7 seconds later...

Patrick's in bed sleeping, Sandy and SpongeBob are on the floor sleeping

Patrick: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Patrick wakes up and hears a noise again

Patrick: There it is again.

Patrick taps Sandy and SpongeBob

Patrick: Wake up, he's here.

Sandy and SpongeBob wake up

Both: Huh?
Patrick: It's the Flying Dutchman.

We see a ghostly glow from the kitchen

SpongeBob: Okay.... I'm starting to believe Patrick now.
Sandy: Let's check this out.

Sandy walks in the kitchen, Patrick and SpongeBob follow her

Sandy: GASP!
SpongeBob, Sandy & Patrick: The- Fly-fly-fly-ing-D-Dutchman...
Flying Dutchman: What are you so scared about?
Patrick: B-but what are you doing in my house?
Flying Dutchman: What do you think? I was trying to scare you!
Patrick: Well... It worked.
Flying Dutchman: Yes, but not for as long as I was hoping. So if you'll excuse me I have to go scare someone else now. There's someone living next door to me that I think I'd like to scare a second time!

The Flying Dutchman leaves

SpongeBob, Patrick and Sandy: Bye-bye.
SpongeBob: Well, Patrick. I guess you were telling the truth.
Sandy: Yeah, we should have listened to you the whole time.
Patrick: Well... yeah... but do you see that ghostly while glow?

We see a white ghostly glow in Patrick's bedroom

Everyone walks out screaming

We then see it was Mr. Krabs in white powder

Mr. Krabs: Heh-heh! I knew that would scare 'em.

Mr. Krabs turns around and sees a ghost

Ghost: Boo...
Mr. Krabs: AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! !!

Mr. Krabs runs out of the rock screaming

THE END

That was great! You got the plot just how it usually is, and everything! All the characters were spot on...spongebob was a bit OOC in places, but it was very good. It was obvious it was the flying dutchman. I think it would be funny if could have heard squidward scream after the dutchman went away,

Great story. I really liked this one.

You don't have to read it if you don't want to. Even if I post a link you'd still have to read loads of text no matter what website you're on.

Exactly. Why bother to post and complain? You didn't have to read it. An FF account would also be a good idea, to reach a larger audience, but It was great it was posted here. There are a lot of Spongebob fans here who would be interested.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I'd love to read more.
