This is what most girls in America want.....

Personally, I don't normally judge other men on appearance but I don't really think George Clooney is that good looking at all. It makes me wonder why half the girls in the world seem to obsess over him but I'm not a desperate 14 year old girl.

You'll notice the main correlation is muscle tone. If a guy is good looking but doesn't have big muscles then he amounts to nothing in the American society.

Meh, looks probably don't matter that much in this... really. Celebrity, social status... this all holds a certain amount of innate attraction.

Heck, you could be an ugly guy... but if you have a TV show and show some charisma... then girls will find you attractive.

I'm not concerned about my looks... they are what they are. A girl is going to be attracted to me or not, it's really out of my control. And if a girl is going to go after a guy just for his looks, well that's the kid of girl I'm trying to avoid.

Well, how do you think they got all this social status?
It surely as heck isn't because they are ugly.

Think of all the actors in Hollywood; how much of they can actually "Act."

Most can't; they are just very good looking people who got lucky and got the roles.

Generally a man's physical appearance is nothing more than a collection of facts, to me. I feel the same looking at George Clooney as I do when I'm shown, say... this:

...except this picture is slightly more informative and intellectually stimulating.

There are exceptions, but any feelings are fleeting unless accompanied by a positive impression of several other factors.

What's the point of saying things like this, anyhow? If you moon over shallow women, you get what you deserve.

To an extent, but it seems like the women who go in for all this "celebrity" created attraction stuff tend to go with the times and whims of fashion. Basically they are told what to find attractive... I think.

This is starting to sound like a Chicken and the Egg question...

Homer? Might work...predictable, faithful, and easy to please. Brad Pitt looks a bit too high maintenance.

Really all most women want is chocolate. Well makes this one happy anyways.
