Nix that photograph of Mel, and there's something this woman wants. 8)

Is it just me, or does he look like a stoned furby in that photograph...?

I don't know when you are going to get it into your thick little ursine skull that women are not simple, hormonal animals with no free will, imagination or individuality. Men have individual tastes, therefore why shouldn't women?

I am female, and I never follow such social trends.

Unless, of course, they make a JtHM movie; in which case I stand corrected.

I don't know what JtHM is, but does that mean that women are simple, hormonal animals with no free will, imagination, or originality, and that my thick little ursine skull is safe for the time being?

It stands for Johnny the Homicidal Maniac.

Actually, if other women find Johnny C. as attractive as I do, they are probably better described as a bunch of f**king loonies.

Idea: Maybe a WP lady can start a thread with a photo, on what she thinks men want. With a poll.

Ya... ya, I'd have to agree. It's all about perspective though -- some women like twits.

That guy doesn't look like a twit, he looks like a warrior.

It depends on the woman. I think that this thread is a tiny bit sexist and highly flawed.

Not all women like that guy, not all women like guys. Some women like women.

What kinds of celebrities would be in that poll?

Oh, I don't mean a list of celebrities, just something like the way I started this thread out. For instance, I wouldn't want a celebrity, I'd want a "girl next door" type. I could start such a thread, but I think it'd be a more authentic experiment if begun by a woman.

A man can easily do that. No need to expect a woman to do that.

The wheels are already turning in my head, but at the moment I am restraining myself, to give the ladies a chance.

The only thing about that guy that bugs me is the phallic sword thing.

What's appealing about this image is the romantic ideal of "knight on a white horse". It's utterly, completely idealized and unrealistic. But frankly, that's the point. I enjoy escapism greatly.

On the same token, it's not like I expect real life men to be that way.

You're not supposed to ask.
