My sister-in-law, who was raised in Japan, told me that, there, the Western "stocky" is considered obese. What we would casually call "He/she could stand to lose a few pounds" -- that's considered the extreme over there.

Well, they are mainly seafood eaters -- maybe that's it, but also there may be genetic factors.

What do they call Sumo Wrestlers?

Is obese even considered 'bad' or unattractive over there? I've heard otherwise actually... that Sumo Wresters are considered attractive in a way.

I'm pretty open to overweight girls, as long as proportions are approaching 'normal' it's all fine by me.

There's a point though... where she's too fat for me.

(I'm pretty fat too... so this level is pretty large actually... just saying there is a limit.)

If you dig BBWs thats fine with me. But dont try to act like most men do because they really DONT. You people are trying so hard to
beat around the bush about a basic biological fact: obesity IS often an indicator of poor genetic health and MOST PEOPLE find it repulsive! Im sorry if I sound unPC or "closed minded" but its true. The good news is that obesity is increasingly treatable.

I'm acting in no such way... in fact what regular guys find attractive I usually don't like so much. I don't care, you can find whoever you want to find attractive. Doesn't matter to me.

Actually... a little extra fat (slightly overweight... not obese) makes a girl look more feminine in my eyes, and femininity is attractive.

There probably is a line though, for most people... between overweight and obese. Up to the overweight(whatever your point is... this'll vary between people) it's okay (or maybe even preferred) just normal human variation, but once it reaches the obese it's just gross.

Actually... to really explain what I find attractive... body size isn't that important. It's more about beauty in her face... eyes and such and such...

It's odd. In the UK their newspapers have topless women on page 3. In Ontario, there was a huge deal more than a decade ago about a court decision which struck down the laws prohibiting women from going topless - there are no women walking around bareboob. In the US, you can have all the girls running around quasi--naked, 11 year old with "Juicy" written on the ass of their pants, everyone pretending that Hillary Duff had no sex appeal when she was 17 years and 364 days old then all the sudden when she hits 18 she's a sex bomb.

Only hinting is allowed, only teasing, an "everything up to but not including" moral stance.

I think its to do with the Protestant ideal of resisting worldy temptations, hating fun and joy, life's just an itchy trudge to the grave.

Look but don't touch.

Every woman a stripper, shaking her ass in your face, getting mad at you for liking it. Women HATE each other. Once they run the institutions they try to weave this into public policy. Women compete with other women for men. Women abuse authority as a matter of course. Have you ever met a more disgusting creature than a woman in middle management? By this point they have a mannish haircut and a fine collection of poly/cotton sweaters with pictures of animals on them, an ass like a garbage bag full of old socks, calendars and coffee mugs with man-hating slogans because they can't admit that its women they hate, living life to spread their hatred onto those they control.

I will not work for a female boss. Never again.

They see how you get along with the younger women and they take it out on you. They see a girl that's prettier and they go for her throat.

Mothers hate their daughters, its true. They see a younger, prettier version of themselves and they see competition, they grow jealous of their daughter's father, shaming and belittling when any time or money is spent on them. Daughters are slung over their mothers backs in a papoose made of envy and psychological manipulation.

Made to feel dirty and sick for loving their fathers, an innocent love they told to believe is perverse, until they do believe and they ARE perverse.

I've seen this so many times in so many places, that I can pick up the signs, the body language, the dynamic of a family's relationship just by seeing these people in public. I see the daughters lifted up in one hand, dressed up and made pretty by their mothers, then smashed into the dirt with the other hand in a jealous rage.

There's a reason that Cinderalla is timeless. It has been made more palatable by virtue of the tormentors being STEPmothers and STEPsisters.

Ever noticed that its the most beautiful women that recoil in horror from sex?

Ever noticed that every woman's Halloween costume is "whore"? One day of the year. That's all they get.

It's just bloody excellent to know that somewhere beneath the baggy clothes I wear outside of the house is a woman dressed as a stripper waiting for a man to look at me so I can snarl at him.

So excellent to know that the fact I'm afraid to walk out of the house in anything slightly suggestive must mean I'm somehow not a real woman.

It's excellent to know that the fact that the daughter I love and care for now I'll one day be rabidly jealous of because she'll take my man away from me. It's also excellent that you've educated me that my mother must hate me because my dad loves me, even though it's blatantly obvious to the entire world (except you) that he loves her as his wife and me as his daughter.

And I suppose it's even more excellent that I'm too scared of people to ever work outside my house. I'd hate to be your manager, since, you know, I'd only be competing with other females in my building and make your work life a living hell.

Thanks for this most superb explanation of the way all females are, Kurtz. I never would have known the demon that I am!

Women certainly ARE competitive with one another. But Ive NEVER understood why they're so competitive with men as well.....not to mention why so many straight women dislike most men except effete gay guys or really suave socialites.

I said it was the most beautiful, intelligent and all around special women that feel horrible about their appearance.

You are Cinderella.

Any evidence to back up the claim that more beautiful/intelligent/special women feel horrible about themselves?
