I hope I'm not being obtuse, but this is ridiculous. One must retain their independence and individuality. You can't do that if you're obsessed with someone. Sounds a bit like that Adam Sandler skit called high school love.

this is called limerence. It is a heightened sensitivity to phenylalanine in your system. Fragrance from real roses and chocolate exacerbate these feelings. It's physical purpose is to bond a couple for 18 months to three years so a child can be raised in the amount of time the chemical bond is active. This doesn't have to happen for the crush to work, and a crush is not always mutual. It is just a long ago reaction to reproduction that hasn't been bred out of humankind. In couple of years and a few more such attachments, it becomes evident that having crushes on people can happen at anytime and are not always convenient, nor timely.
