Its tough when you look like a bus ran over you, but you only ever fancy people who are much more attractive.....

Not really, because if they don't like you back then you can arrange for a bus to run over them...

I'm usually attracted to girls whom NT (read: popular) guys wouldn't even give the time of day. I don't know why; I can't explain it. I guess I've become conditioned to associate them with pleasant feelings (e.g. they actually gave *me* the time of day).

music seems to play a big role. if a girl listens to mostly music i don't like, it tends to turn me off :( ... but there's also certain attitudes that really turn me on... girls who are open-minded for one thing.

and for the ones i don't know personally, looking a certain way. now i don't necessarily mean pretty, because there's plenty of "attractive" girls i've seen who don't "attract" me, i don't know how to explain it, just certain faces that certain girls have make me think whether or not they would appeal to me. it's not entirely a beauty thing, just something weird that i don't exactly know how to put in words.

That's exactly how it is for me. I guess I simply pick up a good vibe from certain girls. Speaking of which, check out the "Vibes" thread in the General Discussion forum. It talks about stuff life this.

Maybe he took that photo before the bus ran over him. :P

I'm picky too, to avoid all the whores. I wouldn't mind dating someone who has a few traits I don't like. Relationships always have compromises.

I don't mind being picky about girls, i mind being picky about guys. I think most girls are pretty enough for me, but i have really high standards for guys.

I know how you feel there. I also seem to take interest in girls who are atleast a few years older than me.

Know the feeling, axelkat! Although it is a pain sometimes for me... :x

I also don't like Australians that much, probably because I associate them with a lot of negative things in my childhood. Strange, considering I am an Australian myself. I am not racist about Australians, I just have an aversionm to the accent, I do not hate Australians.

Know that one entirely - there was a Frenchwoman once, rather gnomish, but I was attracted to her. Probably because of the accent, which brings me to another thing.

I love hearing foreign accents and foreign languages, and I find foreign accents, in particular Dutch accents and Russian-type accents, very appealling. Strange since most consider the former type of accent sounds like a woodsaw, but different strokes for different folks, I guess...

Well, I guess I am willing to do that if I have to (which I will have to do).
