^^ between you and juliekitty, I'll certainly pick you for a dance because juliekitty, according to her, is a brave dancer and I would be humiliated by my clowned way of dancing. In life you should always expect a worst scenario or a best scenario , in this case you're the best scenario since you are probably the worse dancer.

I've always refused to dance. The very simple reasons are

1) that I've always been afraid of dancing,
and
2) that dancing seems to me to be nothing more than repeating of certain moves. No reason, no sense.

That might well be one - though not so remarkable - reason why it's so improbable for me to find a partner; damn many women just love dancing.

I just realized there's a dance I want to learn, just for the terror value. The Moonwalk!

I love music and I love to dance... I took fitness dancing in college. Just because I love it doesn't mean I'm good at it or that I'll be on stage... but it makes me feel better... so I do it in the privacy of my own room or with my girlfriend at the gay bar when she's in town to visit XoD

If you like to do it, screw body awareness, do it! The only loser is the one who limits self because of useless people who have no education about the situation. If they laugh, that's their fault. (I know, it is hard to ignore, but easier when you're with a group that you trust ... I do not recommend doing this alone in public by any means.)

Well I've been doing swing dancing for a while and have no contacts yet. But it's definately a bucket load of fun. That and the music is fantastic.

Nothing so aesthetically pleasing as seeing a woman indulge in a bit of "shine time" at the end of a swing out! :bounce:
