PICKY?

i'm the last person you could call picky! I'm not looking for Brad Pitt or anything, just someone who is kind and respectful, which I think is fair enough!

there are lots of kind and respectful people out there, autistics quite often are but dont show it often

P.S. didnt post my email in my last post, and site wont let me post it until i have made 5 posts or something lol

well, just look how many replies your thread got, you've got quite a bit of choice here ^.^

Yep, I think this thread proves that it is a LOT more easy for a woman to get a boyfriend than it is for a man to get a girlfriend.

well, only on the internet...on an aspie site on the internet...i mean, she said she hasn't had any in 2 years, she could be a complete shut-in or something. IRL things work a little bit differently x

yes, I've had a fair few replies, but that doesn't mean they're close geographically or that I get on with them. it's all very hit and miss, as it were.

If you meet someone on the internet, you can arrange a real life date.

It should be no problem to find a UK-forum for Asperger, where you can meet someone relatively close, maybe not the same town or village, but still quite close. I am sure there are a dozen of guys who would travel a LOOOONG way to meet you.

Hi 'jinxed', I am 45 and reckon "I am more jinxed than you".

I've tried 'dating sites', 'personal ads', 'going out, sport, cinema, gigs etc', even put personal ads in newsagents windows etc

Have you tried the well known UK aspie website?

This was a very entertaining thread.

I'll join the queue by PMing you, more out of interest than anything else.

Lol, Jinxed, you opened a large can of worms by sending a message out like this. Every shy autistic guy will want to be your friend here, it's kind of funny. But I'm not one to talk, since I did the same thing
