Do Aspies have a chance at a meaningful relationship?

In Norway, most Aspie kids have what is called "Individual Education Plans", this is a system wich ensures that they will graduate from junior high and be either just kept in three years of totally useless high school or start working in such jobs as sorting trash, because they can't do the pretty pathetic math needed to graduate high school here.
Basically no students with learning disorders here have any chance of getting a "normal" job because they are treated as if they are "ret*d" equally if they have ADHD or Downs syndrome. They are encouraged to get unskilled jobs because it's easier for them. Also, like probably most small towns, most girls there move away for good at 19 to go to college or work. Only the weirdos of both sexes remain.
I have to confess that all I'm after is to sleep with an obese woman that doesn't have an iq under 70, wich is the only kind of woman I can get.

Wow, lonermutant, it sounds like Norway is practicing a form of Eugenics! I dont think the answer to aspergers is to whittle the person down to nothing so that they wont be successful, or pro-create. If I were you, I would leave Norway. Its a nice socialist paradise, but it sounds to me that if you want to succeed you should look elsewhere. I can tell by your attitude that the system hasnt helped you there.
I didnt find out I was an aspie until a year ago. But still, I graduated highschool with an average GPA and am now in college majoring in a field that requires some math skill, along with spacial/abstract reasoning. I do not think Aspies are dumb at the "hard stuff" like math. Many programmers out there (and some I suspect, going at my school) are aspies!

On Saturday I was in shop and I had to count money. My brain froze and the lady behind the counter had to count them for me. That shows how much I hate math. I think I actually have a talent for it, it's just my concentration problems that has screwed it up for me.
I tried to finally take math and science classes i needed to get into college 1 1/2 years ago. I actually didn't understand why the teacher had to break down the calculus into fragments for us because I could for the first time solve it quickly. Nothing difficult or complicated, really.
I join to the previous by saying that aspergers have a chance for long-term relationships, though
it requires plenty of patience and understanding from the partner. My current boyfriend knows that
carry inherited asperger`s syndrome. Thus far he has not mentioned anything negative, but
later on we supposedly might get bored. He is not such an enthusiastic person, rather analytical
and non-readable person. He may not be the right one, or?
