Yeah, don't forget that there are actaully non-surgical way to reduce labido. Including reversable ways (Ie. chemical castration).

Eunuchs have their testicles removed. They lose libido, generally gain weight, and are supposedly unable to father children.

However, in WWII the Italians came up with a horrifying weapon called a castration mine. Many Allied soldiers lost the two 'veggies' of the 'meat and two veggies', yet still a few were able to have children. it was later found that something called (I think) Cowpers' glands could produce enough sperm to 'do the deed'.

This is the real reason that the Ottoman Turks used Black guards in the hareem at their palace at the Porte (been there, it's nice.... If they strayed, the result was easy to prove.

I have seen animals, horses, dogs, and cats that are castrated still have sexual relations with other animals.

Also the Eunuchs were castrated, but only one of the testes was removed, so that they could please the wives of the harem, without being able to (Or so the husband thought) being able to produce children yet still keep the wives sexually satisfied.

I do not think it would change the desire much as people still wish intimacy.

In a male, if it was a complete castration, he would still be able to get an erection, as it is the blood in the penis not semen produced by the testes that hardens the penis.

In the female who is castrated (Such as in parts of Africa.) The female can still have sexual relations but the sensation is less because of the removal of her clitoris.

Castration might slow your libido down, but from the stories I read about the harems (Middle and Far East), the eunuchs still were able to perform.

There are stories of the Castrati in the seventeenth century who had grand amours, and functioned for the most part.

I don't know why Anyone would want this to happen to them I happen to have become quiet attached to these two fellows down below, to the point that having something happen to them would be very upsetting indeed

I find this thread to be pretty hilarious. If you castrated yourself and no longer had a libido because of it, you would most likely regret it. This is because you would know what it is like to have a sex drive. You would probably miss having one. You would know how it is to feel sexually aroused and have an orgasm but you would no longer be able to. The fact that you no longer could feel aroused and have an orgasm would most likely bother you. You would end up missing the feelings you get from being sexually aroused and having an orgasm.

Actually, I wouldn't miss it at all. Yeah it feels good, but so does sneezing, and I wouldn't care if I never sneezed again. The fact you have to sneeze is an inconvenience.

How could you know you wouldn't it miss unless you actually lost it?
