Once again, V-Day reminds me that I don't have anyone.

Valantines Day always makes me depressed now....

1. Its been 2 years and I still can't find a girlfriend

2. I still get kinda jealous when i see random people making out.

3. And I don't like it.

Only like it for the candy.

At least the new Sports Illistrated Swimsuit issue is coming out this week

Damn right. In fact I believe that if you really are in love with someone you wouldn't need the excuse of Valentines Day to do something romantic, in fact it's probably the day some guilty spouse overdoes it to keep the heat off them, or maybe even a day for last chances in flagging relationships. Think of it like that and all of a sudden all these 'happy' couples don't seem quite the ticket.

Personally the day makes me reflect on my lack of success as far as relationships go. It's part of our inate make-up that we want to be loved and to love, at the very least to keep the species going, to put it crudely. However, it doesn't make the day any easier, and I'm positive for every irritating small-ad and tacky heart-shaped gift there are several miserable souls raking over past failiures, or the fact they'll never perhaps enjoy the feeling of love.

I'll do my best to keep busy and ignore all the cobblers, but I know that in the idle moments during the day my heart will start to ache terribly, whether I want it to or not.

My birthday is the day before Valentine's Day. I still hate Valentine's Day though.

If I was in a relationship I don't think I would be looking forward to Valentine's Day all that much. I can't say it particularly bothers me compared to just being single in general.

One of my friends turned it into muffin day. Instead of the mushy love stuff. She would give her friends muffins. I love the change. I vote that we make that the new day instead of V-day :)

It is not so bad being single if your past Valentine's have been duds.
