I highly disagree with males using prostitutes to relieve their lonely feelings. I'm not judging you, what you do with prostitutes is up to you, but religiously speaking, I must disagree.

What I'm seeing is that you're giving positive attributes to prostitutes for listening to you and not judging you, while you are alluding to neurotypical women who give "false signals" and play games mentally, which you resent.

I understand what you mean, there have been MANY times I though neurotypical women were nothing more than a bunch of stuck up b*****s who couldn't see past the end of their noses. They do play games, and several of them tend to be superficial and stuck up, I would know.

However, and I'm not trying to sound condescending or hateful, did you ever consider that the prostitutes you talk to and hang out with only put up with everything you say and do just so they can get paid? Isn't that the purpose of prostitution, to get paid to do things sexually with a person as well as to listen to them?

Prostitution is a very one sided relationship, you are paying a girl for sex for a certain time period and you can do whatever you want in that time period, even chat. However, it isn't love, it is an unnatural business that isn't wholesome or pure. Love is when two individuals, out of their OWN free will, care about each other first and foremost as friends, and lovers secondly. Prostitution is not out of free will, it is conditional, you pay for the services you get. There is no intimacy, no bond, no lasting tie, it is just a cold business, loveless. Prostitutes sleep with multiple men, so what value can they have to you if they do these things? Yes, you might feel more comfortable around them because they are a lot more open, but it is an illusion, I think, "Get whatever you need out of your system during the time period you paid for, and I'll just leave".

I personally will never use a prostitute, even if I die alone, I will not use one. I think there is no honor in it, no love. I hope that you will get a girlfriend sooner or later, because I know it will be much more fulfilling than frequenting prostitutes

A few reasons why I wouldn't, personally-speaking, use a prostitute:

1. I don't feel easy with the idea that the other person isn't really consenting to have sex with me. They are consenting insofar as they would have sex if I pay them, but their interest is in supporting their lives (or, very often, their drug addictions) rather than in pleasing me as an end in itself. Overall it feels like I'd only be a source of harm and discomfort, something to endure.
2. I don't feel easy with the idea that I am funding prostitution, as an industry. I would not feel so bad about this if it was legal and I felt assured that suitable controls were in place. However, because it is illegal no such controls can exist, and who knows where my money could end up?
3. I am afraid of contracting sexually-transmitted diseases and/or having a child. Birth control and protection exists but has its limits. I feel like unless I am prepared for many of these possible consequences, I am not prepared to have sex.
4. People have spoken of their experimentation with prostitution quickly becoming a habit. I have a highly habit-driven personality and if I were to enjoy having sex with a prostitute, I can easily imagine myself then feeling driven to spend more and more money on prostitution. Whereas if I don't experiment with prostitution, I can save money (and also not feel guilty/uneasy for the three reasons above).

That about covers it, I think.

I've never had to engage the services of a "sex worker." Some of us are just lucky that way, I guess.

I do agree with you on the grounds of prostitution not being actual love, and would never visit one myself (also, the health concerns are an issue... the last thing I need is an STD) but you're forgetting that there are people out there (like me) who will pretty much never be able to get a girlfriend, much less a fulfilling relationship... I for one don't really care what other people in my position do, though...

Jawbrodt,

You may live in PA, but you can always go to Latin America or Asia to get a very attractive prostitute at a
very reasonable price. Plus, its legal in most Latin American and Asian countries. Perhaps you might want
to look into overseas travel.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm not really serious about finding one. :) I was just thinking that back when I used to drink alot, if there were prostitutes around, I most likely would've gave them a try. There are even times now where it crosses my mind, but it is not a real desire so I would never travel just to see one. Now if I only had to walk down the street to find one...... :chin:

Plus I'm a fellon, and heard I would have trouble getting a passport to travel. Not sure if that's true or not, I never looked into it yet.

I will keep that in mind though, if I ever get the opportunity to travel and am still single.

Human trafficking is a real danger, a woman being invited to another country or believing she has a work permit, instead her passport being confiscated by pimps so she cannot get help easily and then force her into prostitution.

4 out of the 5 women I have been with were prostitutes. I really only feel comfortable around them. With a prostitute, you don't have to worry about the social mores that are such issues with Aspies. I only feel comfortable around prostitutes. The hurt and rejection has been so compounded that at this point by non-prostitutes (a term I generally use in the same way we often use "neurotypical") that I will really only talk to them. In a social setting, I don't even bother talking to women anymore.

I think the best way to sum it up is that in my experience, a non-prostitute will take your money and your heart, whereas a prostitute will only take your money.

I am not trying to say anything derogatory, but that is just the way my life experience has been.

This isn't really the way I want it to be, but it's the way it is, and I have come to accept it.

[attack removed - M.] Prostitution should be illegal.

Prostitutes are more likely to exploit someone with Asperger's syndrome than the other way around. Women go into prostitution for many reasons: substance dependence; a desire for easy money, which in turn means taking advantage of lonely and desperate men like us; an innate high sexual desire; being forced against their will.
