Also the line about "Spending warm summer days indoors / Writing frightening verse / To a buck-toothed girl in Luxembourg" (which does sound like fun to me!)

Time to bring heavy metal to this party. This is a song by power metal/thrash metal Iced Earth, called "Stand Alone". I was hoping for something by Megadeth, but they don't have any songs that end peacefully concerning relationships:

This song doesn't represent ALL aspies, but it does have some common features with the song, like the first two stanzas, which speaks about being consider a freak and not belonging to other people, and how we shouldn't care what other people think about us, since ignorance can kill when people follow a certain idea that is untrue (like you have to have a gf, you have to be in a relationship, if you don't, what value do you have?)

The main thing that I like about this song is the refrain "Stand Alone", which I think represents my views romantically. I used to spend some much time and effort chasing after women because I so desperately wanted to be in a relationship. I made myself miserable searching in vain, until I gave up, and said "I don't care anymore, if women aren't interested in me, why the hell should I be interested in them?!" I finally gave up trying and accepted "Standing Alone", not chasing after the thing that makes many people miserable, and I learned to accept loneliness. It doesn't mean I'm not attracted to women physically, it means that I accept being alone and acknowledge that I don't need them to be happy. Learning to stand alone is difficult, but it can be done.

Lyrics:

Listen not to ones who preach
Those who feel you're a freak
Everything about you is wrong
You must be sick, you don't belong

Father said, worry not what they say
Use your mind, your own free will
In a time when everyone follows
Ignorance can kill

They only say what they want you to hear
Half-truths have been twisted to conceal your fate
In a world of spoon-fed emotion
Intelligence can save

Stand alone
Hear what I say
Stand alone
You will seize the day

Son, say what you mean, don't be afraid
Tell them how you feel, hear what I say
Be true to yourself and true to your own
Your spirit will crush the hearts of stone

Stand alone
Hear what I say
Stand alone
It's a leap of faith

Maybe some songs of Eric Hutchinson or Jason Mraz would do, but are their songs to NT to be regarded as aspie themes songs?

And once you finally fall in love...(Lyrics Below)

Everywhere I Go Lyrics
Band: The Call

Raise me up
Keep that promise that you made
Wake me up
Keep that promise that you made

(CHORUS)
I think of you (everywhere I go)
I think of you (everywhere I go)
I look for you (everywhere I go)
I need you (everywhere I, everywhere I go)

Straight as a curve
Smiles, eyes, powers to confound me
I lose my nerve
Your voice, it echoes all around me

CHORUS

Ease me down
Keep that promise that you made to me
Take my hand
My mind reels, all my senses rise

CHORUS

When it comes to dating, maybe the inhabitants of Wrong Planet "might as well be on Mars"?

I chose the Dating Game theme, given my penchant for game shows.
