I was a virgin until I was 28; I'm a Born-Again Virgin(tm) now.

With as depressing as people make this topic, it should be in the Haven. Sex drive is just a part of our nature, and how much it impacts you is your decision. Is it uncomfortable to go without, yes, but do you really need it to be happy or content with your life . . . who knows. In the end, it only relieves one form of tension, but it wont solve all your problems. Take my advice, dont go looking for companionship . . . it tends to find you when you least expect it. Above all be patient, could take 5 years, could take several decades. Get a hobby, strap in, and just hang on until somethingsomeone comes your way . . . thats all you can do.

I was the 28 year old virgin; at least I don't have to worry about that anymore. Does not make me any less lonely and frustrated about being single, though.

I was 23 (current age) when I lost my viriginity. Sex is overrated. You virgins out there aren't missing much IMO. It's tiring, sweaty and weird. Masturbation is just as good. Male's perspective anyway. Maybe I just haven't met the right girl, but sex isn't any better than masturbating for me.

23 yrs old here... although I wasn't aware of having AS until I was 20 and decided to start working on getting better at social crap in general... had I known I had AS in high school, and began to get help then, I could've probably taken up those opportunities I now realized that I had missed out on.

I really don't want to have to resort to the typical male thing which is getting a gal drunk... or maybe I should just try to date a female who's studying psychology or something.

I lost mine almost exactly 2 weeks before my 21st birthday. The girl was the first real girlfriend I had, and I am still very happily with her since then (about 2 years). I wasn't looking for anyone in high school, though, and I didn't really "want" to lose my virginity until I was 19, so take my comments as you will.

My first kiss was early age 20, and I went from 1st to 3rd base for the first time in the same night with said girl. It was... underwhelming, honestly.

For those who are in their late 20s or later who actually want to get somewhere with women, I highly recommend going to conventions or whatever for your current or frequent obsessions. It's how I met my current g/f (we first saw each other at a convention for the web-game "Kingdom of Loathing") and we fit SO well together.

Sex/intimacy without love is so digustingly overrated.

34 year old virgin, unfortunately I'll probably stay a virgin 'till the end. Heck I've never even kissed a girl.

Recently turned 23 and yup, still a virgin. Admittedly I got world-shakingly close with my best friend this year when they rebounded with me- but I really wish all that didn't happen at all.
