Are aspie guys capable of initiating hand holding?

I have no problem with it. It's just a hand after all. The problem is trying to find out if it's ok to do so or not without being too forward to advancing too quickly. Some girls like to take things slowly.

Sometimes I look at their lips and want to kiss them, just as I wish to hold their hand as I look at it all over. But I fight off the temptation to do so.

I love hand holding it's great for keeping phase and not tripping or walking slower or faster than your partner, greatest leash ever.
Kissing is another matter but nothing that puts me off though, I only start kissing when I'm in the mood or if I'm met by the right signals.

I honestly can't tell when I'm supposed to so I default to letting the other person make the first move. Once I figure it's okay then I'm fine initiating.

Hard part is just knowing if it's okay to do so. I worry that the other person might find it inappropriate or creepy if I try to do so.

For sure! I have never had any issues regarding hands and I am always bothering my gf (in the nicest possible way!). Just as long as nothing goes anywhere near my feet, nose or mouth there is usually no problem!

Obviously the answer is yes, it's possible, but is it likely?

Part of the issue seems to be determining when it is appropriate for that first contact. Obviously a kiss is more intimate and there is generally there is an acceptable time - at the end of the first date. Which I don't think is the intent currently

You can always try the simple interogative, "would you mind if I held your hand?"

The kiss however, takes timing.
