Beards don't work for most men but for some they do. It's worth a try because it costs nothing to grow one.

Thanks for the advice, everyone!

I am planning to lose weight, for health reasons.

Part of the reason I have the requirements is to weed out those who are asexual, or think of vacations only as "no computer or video games for a week".

You're not a bad looking dude Tim. I think a neatly trimmed goatee would be a good thing. You have a very boyish face and it would make you look more mature. Since you have black hair a full beard might be too much. Your hair needs to be different but I can't help you there.

i think he needs to either lose the facial hair (shave clean) or grow a neat mustache. patches of hair around the chin is not attractive (at least not to me).

i think the problem is not that he can't attract the kind of women he wants, but the kind of women he wants DO NOT EXIST (or at least exist in a very few amount). so loosen up on those requirements.

^Excellent work. The top one is a good look for him, although a tad 'off' from his personality.lol Not a bad start though. 8)

I vote for Evil Mirror Universe Tim. That is a good look for you although the earrings are a bit much. I want the laser beam eyes for myself.

actually, the spock goatee on him proves that he can look better in a goatee, so I think he should go for it...

I think the goatee works well (or at least the theoretical Photoshop goatee works well).

I just thought of something.

Without the glasses, I would look like John Belushi, which is fitting because Animal House is one of my favorite movies.

With a goatee, I would look like Bill Richardson (governor of New Mexico).

I thought you looked like George Michael with the goatee, very sexy

Tim, can you post a youtube video of yourself so we women can see how you present yourself/carry yourself? It would be much more helpful than just the pic in your avatar that looks like you took it with your webcam.

While I'm not a fan of arbitrary change (had a ponytail for 16 years, for example, because it was comfortable), taking a chance with playing with your physical appearance might be not only fun, but a way to see how it affects the perceptions of others around you. Growing a little facial hair and buying a pair of different sunglasses takes minimal effort but could provide some interesting information. I like it, and I do think it is more flattering to your facial features as well.
