That she doesn't exist, not interested in a romantic partner.

a "good-enough" wishlist of either gender:

cannot be a conservative/GOP'er
non-smoker of anything, light or non-drinker
must like sex somewhat, and not be doctrinaire about it either.
legs/thighs, hips and booty are what i pay attention to, externally.
should not be more than 20% overweight [IOW no fatter than me :) ]
must be sexy in their own way, that resonates with my own conception of sexiness
must have a slightly warped sense of humor
must be naturally loving and affectionate, and understanding of/compassionate towards the unfortunates of this world

must love music in general, inclusive of old stuff/classical/jazz
must be much neater than me, IOW 2 slobs in the same house=DISASTER!! !
must be clean. a LITTLE messy is fine.
an appreciation of swimming would be a plus
must have more of a kind streak than a mean streak [we all have our moments]
an appreciation of fine aged cheddar cheese would be a plus
if highly intelligent [NOT a requirement but obviously a plus] this must be tempered with mercy and grace towards those who are less intelligent

must be familiar with the biblical concept of "long suffering."
must try to understand my faults, i will try twice as hard to understand theirs
must understand stendahl's syndrome and not be turned-off by it
must find major utility in computers [IOW they can tolerate my hours on one, i would not mind if they spent hours on the infernal things as well]

must not be a snob in any respect, that is one thing i won't tolerate in life.
must take care of their health. not an athlete but prudent in self-care.

GADS! this is quite a long list, isn't it? it is moot anyways, so i don't care.

someone who doesn't drink
someone who isn't rude/belittling of me and my weird ways
someone who cares about me
someone who cares about my kids
someone who respects me
someone who is not abusive
someone who works and is honest
someone who doesn't constantly nag and yell at me

I've honestly decided that there is nobody out there for me and I will never be able to make any
type of relationship with a partner work. When I leave my current relationship I have no plans to ever
get involved with anyone again.

My dream partner is someone to whom I'm everything. Someone who will sit down and watch a film with me from start to finish and be willing to listen to my ramblings about it later. Someone who will come back if I panic and push them away. Someone who will respect my interests and make an effort to find out more about them. Someone who will always stay loyal to me no matter what.

Ha.

I've tried very hard to be attracted to blondes but, (and I apologize if this is a little bit crude,) I can only 'stand to attention' when I'm looking and thinking about dark-haired girls. I was on the cross-trainer in the gym today, trying to work off some of my puppy fat, and in front of me on one of the running machines was a shapely brunette, and I just stared at her backside, and thought about all the freaky things I would like to do with her. Needless to say, a little extra rush of blood flowed to my loins. :jester:

I am sure it would not be difficult to find someone who would watch a film with you and then discuss it afterwards.

After all, that's why they invented cinemas. A person never goes to a cinema alone. :farao:

At one time I used to go alone to the cinema, occasionally, but I quickly got paranoid, because 99% of the other people came in couples or in groups of friends. I remember one time, a couple came and sat right next to me (the girl in the seat next to mine and her boyfriend two seats down from me). I could feel the warmth coming from her body, and I thought to myself, my god, what am I missing out on? And it tormented me that these people sitting next to me were mere strangers, and not friends.

And also, I believe the cinema is a great place to hold hands, and do other things that are nice and warm. :D

I don't think I'm overly picky but I never seem to be able to find many guys I am interested in :P

I want someone who likes music and not just what is concidered "popular" to listen to.
Don't know why every "relationship" I end up in, the guy ends up obsessed with sports and I think all of them are pretty much dull - esp. to watch on tv :(
It might be location but most guys have a filthy mouth. Why can't I find a nice guy who speaks like a nice guy.
Someone who doesn't take themselves that seriously.
Someone who reads.

Looks don't matter that much to me. But... I do tend to like tall/dark hair/dark eyes.

I started making my own list of what I want my dream partner to be.

christian ( I'm a christian so this is a must)
aspie
likes pets ( I have 2 dogs and a guinea pig)
enjoys video games
likes to cook
likes computers as much as I do
likes to go to the zoo and musuems
likes to be at home
Funny ( can make me and other people laugh)
Intellegent
likes jigsaw puzzles
keeps up with basic hygiene ( brushes teeth, washes face, showers at least twice a week)
is equally matched with me in video games
is ok with some touching
likes to talk and listen
doesn't do drugs
doesn't drink to excess
doesn't smoke
is Kind
likes forensic televison shows ( I happen to be a big fan of forensic files)
like plus size females ( I happen to be one)

That's where I left off at. :)

I at one point looked at this concept but I found that there is no such this as a dream partner in the fully literal sense.

However, there are some things I look at:

-Being a child at heart is a must. I admire people who take their time growing up, and yet build a good sense of maturity out of it. Also, being mature and insightful for your age is beyond a must.
-Being well informed. I don't want to deal with a girl who doesn't know about the world around her.
-Virginity is nice (as my sexual experience is next to...um, it is zero), but someone who is rational about it is a good thing.
-A fall birthday is nice as well, but I make exceptions.
-Someone who is at least half tech savy.
-Someone who is going to fight for what they believe in. Sorry, but I don't break up just for no reason, and neither should you.
-Good grammar. I don't want to deal with a girlfriend who has downright yucky grammar.
-Someone who doesn't smoke, isn't a druggie, or is a binge drinker.
-Someone who is well spoken and doesn't act like a dumb blonde.
-And above all, someone who can understand who I am as a person.

Someone who understands and accepts me, who I can be myself around, and who loves me for it.

Agreed. Good luck to both of us.

Just out of curiosity, what would make a guy douchy?
