Um, actually, there are a lot of shared symptoms:
inattentiveness, hyperfocus (for some ADHD subtypes), impulsiveness (including saying the first thing that comes to mind, regardless of how un-diplomatic or painfully honest it may be), problems making/keeping friends or other social problems, racing thoughts, high creativity, problems with abstract concepts, heightened sensitivity (both emotional and sensory), executive functioning, issues with time...and then of course there are the comorbids--anxiety, depression, sometimes anger/violence/ODD, low self-esteem, relationship woes...
Not everyone with ADHD or AS has all of these symptoms, but they're very common in both.
