I'm bored so I'm going to give this a try.
My name's Adam. I'm 16 (nearly 17), and I live in Tallahassee, Florida (though the Innermost Darkness of Your Own Heart could easily be considered my winter residence). I'm thin, 5'6", have long, wavy brown hair, hazel eyes, and am growing out a moustache.
This is me:

Image

I'm bisexual and interested in double-dating. I'm a social liberal and believe in individual rights. As for my religious preferences, I can frankly say that I don't have any one way or the other, although I do believe in the existence of a higher power. Although I'm very emotional and the intuitive, expressive type, my true personality is ambiguous (though I've been told that I'm both cynical and charming). I'm curious about everything and I have a wide range of interests, including but not limited to literature, art, writing, mythology, chess, reading, books, anime, manga, fantasy novels, psychology, sociology, sex, dream interperetation, comparative religion, world politics, history, geography, music, drama/acting, film, digital photography, noncompetitive swimming, carrying on long pointless conversations, collecting small shiny objects I've found in unusual places, and learning Spanish (though not necessarily in that order).
I'm very creative and I like to express myself through any means I can think of (and if there's a way of expressing myself that I have no knowledge of, I'm always willing to learn). I'm both a dog person and a cat person and I get along well with small furry animals. While I like animals, I have an intense dislike of children. Also beware that I go through the occasional period of depression and give lengthy pessimistic speeches, but other than that, I'm good to go for a quality, emotionally fullfilling relationship.
I get along best with people in their twenties and older teens and hope to date someone in that age range who is very intelligent, friendly, and shares interests with me that they are very active in pursuing. All three of the above are a must in any romantic relationship I become involved in.

I'm definitely too young for you, but it would be neat to meet another Aspie at all @@. I'm moving to Portland in the near future, too. Holla back!

Yeah, send me a PM when you're in town. We can go have coffee at one of the coffee chains, a microbrew at one of the brewpubs here, or a shake ( I think there's a burger chain here that makes good shakes).

Well me and my girlfriend just broke off so I am back in a scene.

I am 26, I am physics ph.d. student at the University of Michigan. My interests that go next to physics are math, philosophy and religion. In terms of sports I am interested in long distant running, swimming, tennis and soccer. I am 5'9'' tall, I weigh 140 lbl. I have dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. My hair style is short and curly. I generally dress in simple things. And I know I have been whining in the past which might be a turn off but I have learned my lesson -- namely if I will view my mistakes as learning experience as opposed to a putdowns, then things won't be dragging on so much. Anyway, I am looking for someone on a shy side like me so that we can keep up with each other. I want someone I can have intelligent conversation with and some of the common interests. So, if anyone is interested in getting to know each other better, feel free to PM me.

I am willing to do long-distance relationships, so don't worry if you don't live in any of the locations that I might be relocating to.

I'm new on this message board, and I'd like to ask you people about your experience with "relationships".

When I was a child, I had great difficulty interacting with other people. However, since then I've gradually learned, to the point where now I can maintain a conversation that's interesting for the person that I'm talking to. My problem is that usually I don't really feel connected to the people I talk to - it feels to me like they are watching me perform on TV. Several years ago, I met a woman who was diagnosed with Aspergers, and I felt connected to her in a way I never had to anyone else in the world (not even my close family members). After a couple of years, she chose to end the relationship, and since then I've talked to a psychologist who, not knowing about her diagnosis, told me that it seemed that I also displayed symptoms of Aspergers.

My hypothesis is that two people who both display Aspergers symptoms may be better able to form a relationship than two people, only one of whom displays symptoms. In your experience, have you people observed this to be true?
