Frogs' legs make me happy too.

Let's hunt some frogs (are toads edible btw?)

Toad - I am curious what happened with your last relationship? What made it end?

She broke up with me... she basically said I was too "boring" and that we didn't do enough stuff together... Even though I attempted to do things with her (usual starter stuff like coffee or dinner or what not) and she generally said she was too busy or this or that excuse. The times I was with her were well worth it though...

How long did you two go out? It sounds like she gave up on this relationship way too soon. I have been were you are at in terms of someone I cared about breaking up with me...and it does suck...no question.

Let's be honest. How many guys see Erisad now and thought what you just said as among the first 2-3 reasons of... oh crap, her this bubbly is not good.

Yes it's a concern that it'll crash and burn and we get old Erisad back. (Hopefully not, but just saying.) But most guys are probably thinking... "crap, we wish we were like her: really happy, new relationship, having sex for once"

i think everyone is very very happy for her - she deserves this. but it was also very fast and i have seen people on WP express some worry about that. true that people must have some jealousy too. that would be fairly natural i think. but it isn't the whole story either.

One part of me is surprised how quickly that all went down, the other isn't. She seemed to have been changing a bit lately, and letting some of the fear and Christian moral BS down.

On topic: on Saturday I'm hanging out with this girl I like. I have slight hope of being something more than just friends, but either way I'm just happy I've gotten this far. Normally I just fear of getting shot down and the gal not liking me at all, so therefore I never do anything.

Erisad IMO did an amazing turnaround if you ask me. Now if me, TOS and a few other guys here can reverse their fortunes I'd be a happy man.

Oh hai guys. :D

I know some of you are concerned about how fast stuff happened between my bf and I. Let me assure you that we had lengthy conversations before doing anything. I just didn't post those parts here because those conversations were rather intimate (not in the sexy way but as in emotionally close). I was thinking over my past relationships and realized there were a lot of "woulda coulda shouldas" in there. Stuff I wish I did but was too scared to. That's why I'm functioning under the "let things flow naturally" mentality for this relationship and it appears to be going well, even though the flow is swift like a coursing river. We're very close, and while things haven't been 100% smooth (and what relationship is?), I'm HAPPY. Genuinely happy unlike in my past relationships where I was constantly worrying about screwing it up. So yeah...I hope that sheds a bit of light on that. Thanks for the concern guys!

Erisad, I think what people are concerned about is that before the relationship (at least when I was on the site two months ago) you seemed really depressed and down on yourself, now all of sudden you have a boyfriend and you're really happy.

People are concerned that if/when the relationship ends, there's no foundation underneath and you'll end up even worse than before, kind of like how people tell Toad that he needs self-love with or without a relationship.
