I have it. I talk almost non-stop if I forget to take my medication and can not read anything for more than 20 minutes or the spaces seems to vanish between the words and the sentences don't make much sense anymore.
Even when I do take my medication, I have to try really hard to remember everything I have to and to listen to other people when they are talking, not interrupting them all the time.
I do best with the hyperactivity when I am by myself. I don't talk, and I am not running around all over the place, though focusing can still be an obstacle.
When I get excited, like when I go hang with my friends or go to a party, it is really difficult to remain calm-ish, but somehow I manage to do it most of the time. When I don't, I fidget around, go from one friend to the next, hugging them and asking how they are doing, smiling and telling jokes with funny but lame punch lines, and embarrassing myself!
It even shows through in many of my endless, rambly posts here!

I have adhd and it is hell

ADHD is different frim ADD, add is more abn AS thing whereas ADHD people often are both as and nt./ I am drunk and probaly ADD but my mother is ADHD and my father is mo0re ADD but he is AS I personaly am not sure ADD exists I think it is just an AS person saying they cant focus on anything that isnt their interest.

I'm going to be a butthole right now and ask the drunk chick for a source.

the source is life experince. People with ADD are alwats like "yeah i have poor ocial skills or I have w4eird sensitivilies and am introverted but I am ADD i am not AS" and i say "Actually you have described AS people with AS very often are v ery focused just not on things that arent their itnerests so they seem daydeamy but they are just not focused on things that bore them.

Whereas the persona with ADHD is like a bat out of hell, going 150 miles per hour trying to achieve this and this and this and this and they are always on their feet. I had an ex i thought was bioth ADHD and AS though and he reminded me of an ostrich, running everywhere on muscular legs to retain his routines, fulfil his interests and earn a living, he was manic.

I howeve r am more AS I m ver unfocussed on things that are not my intersts. I wonder if I should go get the kitten.

My wife have has inattentive ADHD, but is NT besides that.
