Are you a fan of the Kinks? Yet many of their songs talk about love. Louie Louie?

I know what kind of woman or what kind of man I want. I know what I want to achieve. That's as far as I plan.

I do not make plans. they are completely pointless. Especially since RL has a tendency not to cooperate.

Especially when it comes to "planning" having kids...considering that takes two people and sometimes, you can't get the other person.

Louie Louie = The Kingsman, not The Kinks. :?

There is one small problem: we are no longer the knights who say "ni". We are now the knights who say "ekki ekki ekki ekki ptang zoop boing wow zing".

Super awesome movie.

As for me, my plan is to never get into a relationship with anybody.

Fun fact: my uncle's ex-wife's grandfather was a drummer in The Kingsmen. 8)

The Kinks version is better. Anyway, they also sang songs like 'All day and all of the night' or 'You really got me', these are songs about love.

I'm planning on doing my undergrad research project after a few 300-level courses, then going to grad school, the working target being Ann Arbor. After the Ph.D, I'd probably see if I can't enter the research scientist position. Seeking tenure is up for debate. I plan on meeting my lifelong partner along this route as well, as this track exemplifies much of what I'd want in her as well.

I've stopped planning, Aspocrat. My life took a bad turn not so long ago and all my plans went to pieces. You don't believe in any god so this quote won't apply to you, "Do you know how to make God laugh? Tell him your plans."

I am not going to say I wasted my time because that would mean I regret falling madly in love. I will never regret that. However, I do regret wallowing for so long when things weren't so good anymore. Time has passed me by and now I'm older, but only a little bit wiser. Do not waste your time, Aspocrat. Do not be so caught up in checking things off your to-do list that you fail to see other potential around you (whatever it may be).

And yet I haven't stopped dreaming.

I had a crush on a guy when I was in college. He was 35 and I was 19. He started out being all sweet and sensitive to me and everybody else. That sweetness lasted from September until the beginning of May. Something went terribly wrong in the May of 1994. That sweet guy that I knew was hurling the insults at me, treating me like I was Mentally Challenged and telling me not to phone his place anymore, saying that my telephone skills stink and that talking to me was like talking to air. My college instructors were threatening to keep me from going on a work experience if they saw me crying again, so I blew up at the sweet guy that I had a crush on, who seemed to turn into a monster overnight. I've promised myself that it will never happen to me, again. End of story.

I apologize. I just thought that I'd let you all know why I wish to remain single. It's just something that I've kept bottled up inside for a very long time and it just had to all come out now.

Perhaps, I might change my mind one day and I will unlock my heart for someone. I'm not quite ready to do that yet.

I want to marry Miranda Cosgrove but I know I have almost no chance in hell. Anyways what I really want is completely impossible unless I can change my past. A little more realistically I want is to find someone to be my best friend & my partner but that seems almost impossible to. If I were to try meeting Miranda; I probably couldn't have much worse luck than I've had the last 7 years I've been trying to find someone
