They (in my opinion) seem to say what they mean and mean what they say, and don't mind that I do the same.

I guess I'm attracted to strong, blunt personalities in general, and I find those rare.

Right, cause there are SOO many asexy men.

I'm a borderline asesxual & very blunt

Works for me, Nick.

When's we gettin' hitched?

Also, one of my pet peeves is 'wannabe mods' threatening members of a forum. "I don't have any tools of 'discipline' but I'll tell daddy/mommy on you". DOO EEET. :D

Just to make something clear - she's not a "wannabe mod" and she didn't threaten you. Some users show good judgement and willingness to help so they either try to mediate a bad situation themselves or they report it to us. I see how you'd prefer people to look the other way when they see tasteless or offensive "jokes" but we appreciate those who are responsible enough to take a stance.

I agree 100% with Bethie's response to MCalavera. Not everyone's relationship is the same. Just because most people view sex as a huge part of a romantic relationship doesn't mean that those who have a different relationship are in any way wrong or not "in love"

I would also be interested to know what makes a relationship for asexual people (I'm aware that all are different btw , but to whoever answers this - what is the difference between friendship and relationship for you?)

Romantic attraction and romantic love, and the expressions of both by the individuals involved.

Kissing
Cuddling
Flirting
Declarations of love
Living together
Marriage
Children

All the things present in sexual romantic relationships...without the sex.

How do you start a family without sex?

Adoption, AI, "turkey baster" method....

very romantic!

Whenever you want :D
Sad thing is I'm not really joking. I just want someone who's willing to give me a chance that does NOT involve me having sex with a guy

When I met my wife I was 23, my lower limit was 18. She misrepresented herself as that age, she had actually just turned 17 when I met her. Since I've been married for more than a couple years now I haven't really thought about it. I waited till I was married to have sex with my wife so that's not an age limiting issue for me. So I don't really know, but I'm pretty open minded, any age that I find the person attractive I guess.

Yeah sex is pretty disgusting if you think about it from an outside perspective. However I have a very "inside perspective" grunting, humping, sweating and everything else ;) :D Even though it's messy it's still quite enjoyable! :D

Anything is disgusting if you really dwell on it. Especially eating, but of course it's necessary.

20 (but it's all conjecture anyway).

though as my teenage daughter gets older, the idea of hypothetically dating someone close to her age could be somewhat disconcerting for both of us. i have no upper age limit.
