If, god forbid, any guy wishes to make a thread outlining their concern about not having a girlfriend then let the above link be a reminder that they have time on their side!
Back OT, I think the reason for this phenomenon is simply due to guys growing up more slowly than girls on average. If a girl is 15, and technically old enough to be a mother, then she needs to have the emotional maturity in place sooner than a male of the same age. I might be wrong
The maturity thing would make sense in a way but in a way not. A lot of the younger girls I see going after older guys are very immature. I think they see the guy as kinda a father figure. In the case of Aspies thou; we tend to mature at different rates than people our own age so it may be that the younger girls are more on the same level in some ways as us.
I don't think that article applies to me because I have really cr@ppy genes. I am much less of a success in life because of disabilities. I am a lot less mature than people my age party because of that & teen girls are more on my maturity level in some ways than women who are closer to my age especially when it comes to my interest; I listen to pop music, watch iCarly; I probably have a Peter-Pan complex. It could be the father figure thing with me to thou because I like listening to em talk about high-school drama, issues with their family & stuff & I talk about my past experiences & try to help em analyze things from different angles. Or it may be the way I talk about
Miranda Cosgrove on fan sites; they think it's really sweet
